Received a call today from 01942538691 which is actually a legitimate number from Brook Farm Cattery in Wigan. Only problem is the people who phoned me were Indian speaking and said they were from UK Benefits, PHYSHING for information in pretense of dong a survey, the information of which they then sell on to other companies and you end up getting bombarded with other unwanted calls.
Mixed reports of who this is. I didn t answer but knew by the number. Did a online search which gives mixed results. Regardless of the mixed purposes, they re an agent pestering on behalf of ie: contracted for the bigger company

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
