SCAM purported to be from Royal Mail saying charge due for parcel delivery with a link to website. I doubt Royal Mail would use text messages like this, and how would they have your mobile number anyway? Don’t follow link even if you are expecting a parcel.

This number 07901 823 560 rang on the 26/04/2023. It was a voice recorded message, stating, for some unknown reason, that I was immediately entitled too several hundred's of pound's. I hung up immediately, as I suspected it was a Scam phone call. Thank You for Your assistance in this matter.

"James Brown" from Belfast with a thick indian accent and didn t know the address of the company he worked for trying to push a "Government" boiler scheme. Total scam!
This company sends you text messages saying you are owed an amount in thousands due to payment protection mis-selling. If you reply you get a voice mail saying ring this number. When you do you ll find the amount claimed to be due to you is non-existent. It s just a ploy to get you there.
These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... SCAM - Just had a call saying they were contacting me about upgrading my phone, so I wasn't best pleased about being disturbed when I'm not feeling well with a very heavy cold. I knew it was a scam straight away as there was no link to my existing provider, so I informed the caller of that and told him to "Bu**er off"! Suggest others do the same.
