Like others on here, I frequently post things for sale on Gumtree. Today, after posting an item, I received a text from this number, asking me to contact them by email. I did (but as I smelled a rat from the get go, I used an alternative email address that they can spam as much as they like) - and they replied almost instantly and very similarly to what others have received from them:- "Thanks for getting back to me,am really new to buying things on Gumtree i want the camera, i would like you to answe

This is driving me mad, I am being called 7 times a day by 0161 814 3046. I ignore it, but they manage to leave a message on my voicemail. If you call back you get the "if you want to unsubscribe please email us" with no address. I have texted their number which is sent without a problem. The number is blocked on my phone and registered as spam but they still get through. They asked if they were speaking to ....... I told them that company had ceased trading 5 years ago. They apologised and ended the call. Clearly a call centre from the background noise and the delay in speaking when I answered their call
It was a recorded message telling me I could be entered in a lottery and asking me to press 5 to be removed and 2 to be entered. I pressed neither and hung up - it is bound to be a scam.

Number keeps calling, finally answered and they said they called to help with my £17,000 debt which I don't even have but they said they can see if from my record in front of them. I don't know where they got this information from or who made it but it was completely false and fraudulent so slightly worried now.

Rings 5 or 6 times an afternoon wanting to sell a PPI refund (which is not relevant to us), has been told numerous times not to call back and that we re not interested, but the phone rings again 20 minutes later (or the following day). A Google search returned the following company as owning this number: Legal Development Partners 3 Grove Pk Ct, Harrogate, HG1 4DP
