On some phones you can block the numbers, I have an iPhone 5s and it s very handy being able to block these pests. Iv had 30+ calls from different numbers the past few weeks too! of which I just keep blocking. Iv answers a few times and one guy was so nasty after I politely asked him to stop calling.. He was unbelievably rude and threatening!

Got a call from this number claiming I had been in an accident. When I asked them where they got my number from they said it was from accident statistics. I said no that is a lie where did you really get it from they said ok then hung up

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. Clarity is a charity who sell their products over the telephone. I am not too sure how they obtain the numbers that they call.
