I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

Called one of our NHW members, reported to be calling on behalf of the Government regarding bank charges. Same number last week claimed to be calling on behalf of The Justice of The Peace

Thurrock Council. All their outgoing calls are from this number. If they seem secretive it's because they need to confirm who you are before revealing potentially personal ...

This number has called several time without leaving a message - tried 1471 but on pressing 3 told the number doesn t exist.

I believe it s a scam number

Who is this ?

They ring up every week asking if you?ve updated your gas and electric meters to smart meters. I have with another company but if I say that they go on to ask about who it?s with etc. Don?t know about trustworthiness or not because I?ve never heard of their company other than them calling me. I tell them I?m not interested and they still call. Now I just hang up. These guys are a chartered accounts firm called renatas. they call and sound official in regards to business rate relief they make out like they are calling on behalf of the council and you need to take there service. stay away as you can get a rates relief by calling the council yourself. don t trust these cowboys.
