Cold call
I get multiple calls from these per day for the past several months. I usually don t pick up but today I did. They got my name wrong so I told them they had the wrong person. When I asked who was calling they didn t respond and insisted on asking me a few questions. I refused so they hung up before I could tell them to take my number off their data base.
Fraud lady caller says they’re from virginmedis regarding your broadband connection When challenged she was very abusive and put the phone down I will be reporting this but I guess not a great deal will cone of it

SCAM Man called Oliver with Nigerian accent said he was calling from BT about my internet speed. Asked me to go onto my computer and press ctrl and some other buttons together. Didn't even switch the computer on just went along with him and said nothing is happening. He ended up getting very cross and swearing at me think he might have guessed I was stringing him along. Number now blocked.

No company has sent me a letter re need for payment, the 1 company it could?ve been doesn?t use capquest so I assume they are chasing a statute barred debt again. In fact capquest haven?t sent a letter either funnily enough, then they wonder why i wont give out my details for ?data protection purposes?!!! My data is already not protected!!

Multiple missed calls from this number going to the answer phone. There is never a message left which is why I have graded it as aggressive advertising. When answered, it was related to a magazine subscription based on out of date information.

This was the latest false number used by the criminals to tell me I needed to co-operate with them because my internet connection was failing - after four similar calls (all using different numbers) yesterday. I was busy. This call did not get answered.

I blocked this number after reading on a number of sites that they are a market research company. Don t believe their story that they do not have to comply with data screening /TPS lists etc. I do not think that their excuse we are not a marketing/sales company should excuse these people from TPS lists and private numbers They are unsolicited / cold callers. Indian man rang me at about 10:30am 26/7/2021 saying that they'd just been upgrading my Broadband and noticed spam being sent to me and hacker activity. Wanted me to turn on my computer. I put the phone down. Have fallen for one of these scams before with someone getting me to download AnyDesk in order for the caller to remotely take over control of my laptop. BEWARE!!
