If you get told to call this number to speak to Verve Media, you actually need to speak to Verso Group. on the website www.verve-media.com it says to call 01582 763 090. I called and got myself removed

I received a call from a chap who called himself Brady, from the Nuisance Calls Prevention Service in Brighton at 6.05pm on 26th February 2015. He told me that he was aware that I was receiving a high ratio of nuisance calls and that he was going to stop them for me... all good up to this point! He then went on to say that for ?2 per month the calls would be stopped!!!! Definitely a scammer, but what worries me is that he knew my name and ex-directory telephone number.

Called about a traffic accident within "the last few years". When I asked for the registration no of the vehicle concerned the caller hung up!

Rang back after they hung up, and a message said this number does not exist.

Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. Same call the next day!.

THIS IS WHEN ANNA (LIKELY TO BE A FALSE NAME) BECAME REALLY RUDE. THEY ARE A DISGRACE.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... This number keeps calling me I have it blocked but somehow it gets through. I answer it and can here people in the background and a lady says hello then hangs up. When I dial 1471 an automated voice said the number was not in service; this was in an American lady. This is really annoying.

After delivery of appliance from A.O.com I keep receiving calls from this number several times a day. I had guessed it would be them as I ve not had any unknown numbers on my phone until this order. Like others have commented, if I wanted to buy extended cover I would ask for it myself. Disappointed with this type of sales calls.
