Got a call today from some guy asking for me by name (which I didn t acknowledge - I never do.) I immediately asked who was calling to throw him off his spiel, unfortunately he mumbled his "company" which sounded like s&l legal? and immediately launched into his sales patter regarding the mis-selling of PPI. I let him ramble on for a few then interrupted him by saying I worked in the banking industry and could run rings round him with regards this. Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

GOT THEIR NUMBER!! IF you want to call them through their parent company Plantec Holdings Ltd. on 0870 285505. It s taken lots of digging and loads of numbers that no longer exist (surprise, surprise), but you can check this by Googling Plantec Holdings Ltd and First Legal Support and it will be the top hit! Not that I would encourage everybody to call them up and complain, but how many of us have had calls? I ve also threatened to report them to OFCOM. Do not accept be bullied by nuisance calls!

SCAM? Automated sounding voice claiming unusual and possibly fraudulent account activity, but account not named, bank etc. To facilitate payments respond on keypad. Hung up and checked 1471, source number revealed.
This number came up on my works phone I answered it and it was a scam regarding money coming out of my bank they were trying to get my account details but I hung up on them and called my bank

Unknown number, so did not answer and let it run to answerphone. Caught the end of a message from a female voice saying would call again tomorrow. You may call again, but we will not get the call - I Googled the number whilst it rang, saw this website's contents, and blocked it!

Rang me re PPI, I "passed" initial questions, and was put through to someone called Steve in a Company that would handle the claim. That call was cut short due to an "IT issue their end" I never got promised call back, and complained 3 times to Reactiv. I now don t answer this number of the Manchester Number which I googled, and it was on OMG momemt!
