SCAM - call regarding investment opportunities I had signed up for via a website. Except I have never given out my mobile number as it is only used as a emergency number for my elderly parents ( who don’t have internet connection) requested that the number is removed from their system. Do not answer from this number, potentially dangerous. Lady claiming she was from Virgin media. I explained that I'm not with them (she tried to argue I was) and eventually asked me if I was 'stupid or something' and then hung up. Probably will want to take personal details.

The 'company' title 'Expert Savers is misleading to get personal information from you, including bank details if you let them supposedly sign you up to a magazine subscription, etc. This is another new number for these harassing pests who won't delete your details from their systems if you ask them to - I know because of having repeatedly (dozens, if not over a hundred times by now). This one is a Birmingham (UK) dialling code, but they use others too.
They called me told me my name and my postcode. Said that I was happy with my bank and credit cards? I said yes and he then said okay and cut me off. VERY VERY DODGY and cannot call the number back either so concerned how they have my details??

This is a genuine Santander Fraud Department number. However I suggest you always call your bank using the number on the back of your Debit/Credit Card to check. This what I did and it was confirmed my Debit Card was being used by criminals, so needed cancelling and replacing.

Got a call from this number claiming I had been in an accident. When I asked them where they got my number from they said it was from accident statistics. I said no that is a lie where did you really get it from they said ok then hung up

They called me several times, I called back and they said they were a pension company, then asked if I had any provident or catalogue etc loans I needed clearing.
Received a call claiming that i have received my claim of 3,690 pounds .
They asked me when I last took a personal loan out with and who with and would ring me back in half a hour. Oh and he already knew my name.
Asian male very polite saying he was calling from Sky and asked if my Sky was working correctly, I said Yes he said OK thank you and hung up.
