I live in Florida, US. Have never before received a SPAM hang up call from England until now. Nevertheless, it was an automated call and I have no friends in, or traveling to the UK.
SCAM - Crypto Trade Cold Call
Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.
Texted me claiming they were DPD and told me to click on a suspicious link because apparently there was a problem with my order (which I never placed) and ive never used DPD before.

Said from Three mobile but refused to use my name or passphrase. Obviously a scammer because he kept talking over the top of me even when I told him that genuine callers treat customers with respect!

Claimed to be "Energy Saving Trust" but it was a sales call for loft insulation. Get these calls frequently; block the number each time then a few days later they ring from a different number.

This number is a bank Number released for people in their network cokeabda.com to pay in. The bank name is X-Network Nigeria/Qpay Company. They have blocked the employer from withdrawing and also the group Whatsapp which is suspected to be a fraudulent platform. Phishing call. They try to get you to install remote access software to help you recover money from bitcoin but instead will try and access your wallet and steal money.
SCAM - the guy said he was from a company called MEH. He said there was potentially something wrong with my life insurance cover which could stop me from being paid out. I asked him what life insurance cober and he hung up. Obviously a scammer BEWARE!!!
I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.

SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Man, claiming to be Jonathan Carter from Microsoft, rang from 01142998909. During the call the line dropped and when he rang back it was from this number. He said hackers had taken over my computer in the pass few days. He tried to persuade me to download Anydesk which gives access to my computer on the pretext that it would remove the hackers. When I refused he said he would have to block my computer from the broadband and I would have to come to Microsoft in Reading to have it unblocked

I haven’t had Sky since 2007 so I hope they haven’t been able to take a payment! :D Don’t click on the link, it’s not Sky; it’s a scam looking to get your bank details.

This number calls me two or three times at about 10 minutes intervals. It never leaves a message. It also seems to be associated with another number 07482876440 which calls with the same pattern. Clearly these numbers are from someone who knows that I do not want to speak to them. Otherwise they would leave their details.
