So I stated he was a scam trying to get my details and he hung up on me...Well if that isnt a clear indication that they are up to no good, I dont know what is. Female caller asked for myself by name before stating: "We believe you are owed some compensation" and offering to send out a form to make a claim. When she wanted to confirm address (which is no longer current) told not interested with request to remove number from their database.
Holly Baldwin, Silvershine Services called my mobile today, asking about the accident I had just had. Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. When pressed repeatedly about the department she put the phone down. Shame, I was just getting warmed up.

Very plausible good English speaker from Call Prevention Service claiming to be working with the official Telephone Preference Service. Gave a Bournemouth address and a contact name. Selling something to block calls at about ?1.95 a month. There is no such number. You can pay BT same amount for similar service. Suspect also data gathering. I have reported to TPS

James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!
