Number has called me several times too, on answering it immediately goes dead on ringing back it is blank and then goes dead.

Got called at 2.20am then at 2.30 early hours Sunday morning.
Bank Scammers. Telling me that £600 had been sent abroad from my Debit card. If I sent the money, press 2, if i Did not send the money, press 1. I put down the phone, went to my local bank and asked them to check. No money had been taken or removed or sent. Dangerous for someone who gets involved speaking to these scum.

SCAM HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately. This scam has been widely reported and often targets elderly and vulnerable people.

This number rang my mobile phone this morning. I didn't answer as I don't answer numbers that I do not recognize. Then I ran a search and found all these notifications of it being, AS I SUSPECTED, a scam number. Needless to say, I won't be ringing them back!

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Fraud absolutely disgusting phone called received from This number. I get called 5/6 a day. A man was trying to argue with me. He told me he was from a debt company and asked if I had debts, to which I answered it’s Jon I feel your business. He asked for me home address and email address! I said absolutely not he then proceeds to shoot at me down the phone telling me HE WILL NOT take my number off there database. These phone calls need policing, it’s disgusting that companies like this get away with it.
Calls 5-6 times a week. Recorded message with a to stop receiving calls from us press 8 message at the end which clearly doesn t work.

Selling life insurance
SCAM.. spoke to two men both with very strong foreign accents who's English was very poor could barely understand what they was saying. They tried saying they worked for sky and that my broadband had flagged problems over to their head office so wanted me to go on my laptop so they could show me. I immediately checked my sky account through the legitimate app on my phone and ran tests which all came back fine.. all felt dodgy right from the off and when asked to go on my laptop I hung up..
just received a call from them. they addressed me with my sir name. I asked them what it is regarding? Guy replied he can t tell me anything until I confirm my all details due to data protection act. Just hanged up the phone.

One of those you have had an road traffic accident that is not your fault. I asked were they got my details and they said "road accidents and safety statistics", I then said "surely that data is anonymised", at they she said OK and put the phone down.
