I asked for my name to be removed from their database as I was unlisted and also on the telephone preference scheme (TPS)I was told that was irrelevant because they were acting on behalf of the Government. Do not answer from this number, potentially dangerous. Lady claiming she was from Virgin media. I explained that I'm not with them (she tried to argue I was) and eventually asked me if I was 'stupid or something' and then hung up. Probably will want to take personal details.

This number called me to say that my number has been used in a serious number of crimes and my national insurance number will be suspended if I don’t press 1 to talk to someone. This isn’t real as the police would ring me directly or turn up at my house, not use an automated voice message to tell me. I hung up instead of pressing 1.

It seemed to be one of those calls about mis-selling of PPI claims but it was a person rather than an automated call. I didn't listen for long enough to find out.

Accident claims experts ...according to their records I had a road accident 2 years ago which left me unable to work!?! Told them I hadn t but if they insist on numerous phone calls to tell me then feel free to send me the compo cheque as I could do with the dosh, at which point they became quite abusive and hung up. I phoned them back gave them a mouthful and told them to take my number off their system which they said they had done. 14 calls in 3 weeks off these muppets so I ve blocked them on this numbe
Lady called. Checked my name. Said she was calling from microsoft about my computer. I put the phone down.

SCAM and potential fraud – automatic voice message claimed they were calling regards an “HMRC fraud in my name” (name not specified) and asking me to connect to an agent by pressing '1', and that if I didn't then a warrant would be issued for my arrest.
Another annoying caller, nobody there when I answered.
