This. Number called me at 10.45 am. I do not answer numbers I don't know, so I rejected it. Apparently it was from Coventry and I know nobody in that area. Immediately a call came through from a number which apparently was from Cardiff. I rejected that too. Straight away a third number but I haven't even bothered to find out where that was from. These scammers or whatever they are buy up blocks of numbers and register them to different areas in the hope of fooling someone. I NEVER answer strange number

Fraud Reckoned they were from Amazon - wouldn't tell me their name or discussed any details - just wanted to know delivery address from Iphone 7 that I had apparently ordered. Never used Amazon.
Keep phoning mobile but I don't answer. If it was anyone important, they'd known to use my landline, as I only have a mobile phone for emergencies, with only family and friends who have this number.
Accident claim. Usual ‘You were in an accident’. No I wasn’t! Sick to death of this scam calls.

Spam call supposedly from carphone warehouse. I said "I have no contract with carphone warehouse" - and the guy replies "oh, that's ok that's ok, I'm not selling you anything. I just wanted to call and tell you that I love you so much, and I want to marry you". At which point I'd hung up.
Received a call but then it gets cut off, its from 02038597401 the man explains its from Passport Office. Not sure tried to call it back and its saying they are but I did call the acutal British Passport office and they have told me that this number is FRAUD! so do not give any information of yours! to 02038597401 this is a fraudulent number. SPAM SCAM Had a call from this number saying it was bt and there was a problem with the internet in the area. They wanted me to turn on my computer and put in the ipn address. When I said couldn't do this as I was disabled she hung up.
Yep, same thing happened to me. One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. I wish these filthy Paki bastards would just fuck off and die!
