Gruff sounding guy claiming to be from Vodafone. Knew my name. I’d been chosen to receive better broadband. Didn’t sound like Vodafone customer service at all. just had the same call as yesterday and the day before from 02071889613 its guys and st toms hospital but they don t seem to stay on the line to find out what they want and when you ring back its a auto recording.
just stopped answering my phone now, if it rings again straight away then i know it s a genuine call.
Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.
