its a rent SCAM to get you to call premium numbers. you call a normal mobile no and he tells you to call his girlfriend, then says you got the number wrong, bla bla bla. SCAM

SCAM / SPAM SCAM NUMBER DO NOT OPEN ANY LINKS IT SENDS!!! Got a text from this number saying they were PayPal, obviously not since PayPal don't text you from a mobile number. Got the below message Paypal: We have limited your account due to unusal activity. Please verify your identity. Click here to begin: https://paypal.form-complete.com/?p=4 Did not click on the link as it was VERY CLEARLY A SCAM!! cannot believe how disgusting these people are. The number has now been blocked.

Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. Basically they re a fishing company, poorly-paid scammers doing blanket cold calling asking "have you had an accident in past 3 years" (citing they have bogus "information at hand") until, inevitably, someone says "yes". Cue then a selling job about how they can claim compo for you (for a % price). Not a scam; just a sad reflection of compensation culture and call-centre mentality. Hang up immediately; or if you want to be arsey, engage person in pointless conversation (though it isn t really his/her fault)
