SCAM 0161 488 0914. Caller said they were from Sky Technical Department and that there was a problem with my router and internet speed, which there isn't and never has been. Woman spoke with an almost inaudible Indian accent and refused to give her name or confirm my details. I hung up.

no-one at the other end it seems...is a scotish area code as far as I can tell.
Voice message alleging fraudulent action would be taken against me and I would be arrested unless I rang a number given in 1 minute. Closed the call down immediately.

applied for loan online. received loads of ph calls & sms claiming they can sort loan, just ph them to proceed. same as other people are commenting, you get given another number to ph, which is 09no. told cost of call will be refuunded, & loan never materialises. Obviously a scam, got be fair though all seemed very genuine in beginning. glad i looked into it in more detail. 1 to avoid in future, have now blocked number

Answered a call from this number, where the caller, Chris (with a thick Indian accent), claimed to be from O2 and wanted to know how my day was. Since I'm not an O2 customer, I hung up and blocked the number.

02392 910896 number called saying he (indian sounding - and partially broken english) was from Sky (my ISP) asking if I noticed flucktuating BB speeds. I said no, and he went on to tell me why they were. Argued that they wern't. I asked him if he knew that I was suffering from slower internet speeds from what I was paying, then (as he was from Sky) he should be able to tell me what internet speeds I should be getting. Six calls in last 24 hours. They persist even though I have blocked the number so it doesn teven ring and they can t leave a message. Number shows on my caller display.
Not genuine number but one that phone Companies sell to scammers all over the world, so they appear UK based. SCAM
keeps ringing, but when you answer you can hear the call centre in the background just before it goes dead. Very irritating.

SCAM / SPAM Received a text from this number, +44 7377 428622, saying that I was due a refund from HMRC and providing a link to click on to start the claim process. Fairly clearly a malicious link so I deleted the text - suggest any other recipients do likewise.
Does anyone know this number . Called today at about 5pm
