A company called Motor Investigations telephoned me at 5.58pm on 6th Oct 2016. Supposedly calling regarding a claim in the past 12 months. (I ve not made a claim in the last 12 years!!). Told him I had not made a claim. The man then said that maybe my vehicle had been damaged by a third party possibly in a car park by someone banging their car door into my parked vehicle. This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.
TAX/arrest warrant. Recorded message claiming that an arrest warrant has been issued in your name for tax evasion. Must be a scam as I pay my tax.

I get, on average, 2 calls a day from this number. Never rings for long, and never leaves a message. Maybe scam!
have received several calls today with no person at the other end. I wrote this number down on the last call. I assume it is some sort of 'dialer' with an operator not ready to take the call when I answered. Annoying!!!
