On some phones you can block the numbers, I have an iPhone 5s and it s very handy being able to block these pests. Iv had 30+ calls from different numbers the past few weeks too! of which I just keep blocking. Iv answers a few times and one guy was so nasty after I politely asked him to stop calling.. He was unbelievably rude and threatening!

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. I asked her what I could do for her and to cut to the chase as I was busy and got a mouthful of abuse being called and ugly [email protected] and other nice names. This number called 5 minutes ago. Silence on the other end. I am ex directory and am always careful when ordering goods on line to either tick/untick boxes re marketing. Annoying!

Several times a day. Answered once and could hear noises in background but no-one spoke: now don t answer but check number afterwards. Harassing to say the least.
