Female caller, Indian accent, gave name something like Mindy, claimed to be from Talk Talk. Obviously long delays between exchanges, nothing like usual UK call quality.

It seemed to be one of those calls about mis-selling of PPI claims but it was a person rather than an automated call. I didn't listen for long enough to find out.

A young Welshman phoned my mobile today. After an unusual and suspicious delay ("Hello? Hello? HELLO?") he introduced himself as representing Winchester and Deakin and said that the call concerned my credit or some such nonsense. Introduced himself as from Virgin Media. Usual Indian accent which is not an issue given the number of services now operated from Mumbai. My signal was poor and call ended, either my signal or them, no details asked for thus neutral rating.
