This was scamnumber trying to get into my bank account

Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.

SPAM, may be a con, because I use a call blocking system I don't really know, if genuine why not follow the simple instructions on my blocking system to get through to me??

Fraud related to scam calls associated with a payment scam activity impersonating HSBC

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based, Indian company masking the no to a local city!!

Block and NEVER touch any buttons other than end call, robotic call scam about Amazon Prime expired press 1 to be transferred... yeah probably to a premium rate call, total scam.

I hung up the call and she called again and I said why shall I confirm any thing when you yourself do not know to whom you are talking to and she said just Shut-up and hung up the phone :( What a shame

Indian man called claiming from sky. Said im not with sky he then said no hes feom a company linked to sky, again said not with any company linked to sky, he said no you dont understand. This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.
