Rang claiming to be from BT . I asked if they could ring on my BT land line and they hung up ..never rang land line ..

Caller phoned and hung up after i answered. I phoned back immediately and it switched straight into answerphone mode

No idea who, didn t recognise and switched off.

Like another person wrote on here, I said no to the insurance on the website, the person was friendly enough and accepted no thanks, but I didn t consent to my number being used in that way, only for delivery info (i.e. time slot) to be given. Always ask them security questions, they got the order number correct and I don t know if there is a scam where they say they ll take away the old appliance for free, and then somehow charge you or possibly sign you up for insurance even though you said no, idk. Caller with indian accent gave a fake name and claimed to be calling from BT Broadband. He said there were hackers using my wifi according to messages on their server. He then tried to scare me in to giving him access to my computer. He was obviously trying to scam me as I don t have an account with BT. He hung up on me when I wouldn t let him access my computer.

I get many calls from this number, and similar ones, every day (starting 02030926xxx). Most are 'silent' and get passed to my answerphone in a few seconds.

This number was given by a scammer to verify the call.... Beware Scam!!

This number is making calls and either being rude to people or hanging up when the call s answered. The number is not an actual UK number, it s being used by someone from overseas as a link for when the call is generated, and so that it can get past the TPS service. Whoever is making the calls using this number should be found and stopped. They are nuisance calls.

Couldn t even say my name properly. Rudely talked over me with his script about answering a survey which would take 40 seconds. Hung up when i asked where he d got my number.

Suggested I had been involved in a accident that was not my fault. I was driving and had to stop on side of country road. These morons need sorting out
