Tried to get security information from me. I asked for a direct phone number and he hung up. I called the credit card company and they said no one had called.

Someone has been calling me from this number every day for two weeks, I answer then they hang up WHY?

They called me a couple of times saying, we got information that you have outstanding depts, is that correct? I said no, and the first couple of times, they apologised, but today, just a couple of minutes ago, the guy that I was just speaking to was just a complete A hole, he bloody hung up on me without any explanation. I have never been in dept nor I never want any help from any dept lenders.

Ladies voice claimed that Id taken out a subscripton to Amazon Prime (which I hadn t) and said that if I wished to cancel it I should press 1 to speak to someon about it. ...

Called regarding an accident in a VW Polo asked to speak to Mr XYZ... I said - politely - it is Miss XYZ and it is my car... was told that that was fine it may be my car but she needed to speak to Mr XYZ... Would not have it that there is NO Mr XYZ...

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. I asked her what I could do for her and to cut to the chase as I was busy and got a mouthful of abuse being called and ugly [email protected] and other nice names. Said she was from Autodesk or AutoCAD and was looking to speak to accounts as license was due to expire. As we don't use Autocad i got suspicious, then she asked if she was speaking to a certain company, of which i didn't know. This may have been a genuine call where they phoned the wrong company or could have been a scam to try and get a payment. As Autodesk now use 3rd party account managers then you would normally know the person calling you and they would be using the correct names.
