My number is registered with the TPS these opportunists ring me at least once a week from a different number. When you call the number back you get a message that it is not accepting calls at the moment.

This was a call from somebody purporting to be calling from the Times subscription department about a problem with my account. I was just suspicious and phoned the main Times newspaper subscription service number. They confirmed that the call from the Colchester number was genuine.

Just received a call from a young man on this number with a Liverpudlian accent. He asked for me by name and asked if I'd been on an all expenses holiday recently.
