25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

Received a call today on my landline. Caller was brusk, impolite and there was lityle or no preamble. Asked me questions about aims and values of Labour Party, why I became a member and reg d voter. Clearly knew that I was one. Asked if I d received ballot. I said I had and had voted. Didn t say for who. Asked if I had voted Lab at last GE or someone else. The conversation was VERY impersonal and only after the call did I think that it was a call I shouldnt have received and questions I should not
Indian man rang me at about 10:30am 26/7/2021 saying that they'd just been upgrading my Broadband and noticed spam being sent to me and hacker activity. Wanted me to turn on my computer. I put the phone down. Have fallen for one of these scams before with someone getting me to download AnyDesk in order for the caller to remotely take over control of my laptop. BEWARE!!
