Noisy background, almost bellowed down the phone to me! Asked for me by name and said they were calling from the National Workers Union, asking if I d ever worked in a noisy environment. I hung up at this point.

Receiving calls about boiler replacement every couple of days and I am now about to put it on my Truecall machine. The best ?100 I ever spent. I seldom get nuisance cals these days but as soon as I have time I Google them to check authenticity, then put them on the Truecall if not trusted. I am hard of hearing, most know this and I seldom get calls now unless important.

Claimed to be Industrial Workers Office. Would not say where obtained phone number. Were asking for my son whose name has never been in a phone book with the number being called. Having looked at this and other websites it appears to be another number being used to that already reported

An asian sounding gentleman rang from this number, said has name was Daniel, and that he would only take up a minute of my time, and then wouldn t bother me again. He knew my name and postcode. I asked what it was all about, as I wouldn t give any information until then. He hung up.

Hassling you about a motoring accident and getting you to claim. My last accident was over 5 years ago and I dealt with a compensation claim off my own back. Company called Direct Response Scouse accented lady called me by name and wanted to discuss damage which had occurred in the last two years. When I stated none just hung up. Why don t these T*ssers just F*ck Off !!
