I had a missed call from this number and having read here that it was a debt collection company I panicked that I had forgotten to pay something! So the man on the phone searched my number and in the meantime asked for my surname. I replied that surely he should know my surname as it was them who called me. Just been contacted by this number,claimed to be from(cooperative energy)asking for an up to date reading of my meters.I normally supply them online at the beginning of the month(which is only 2 days away) I gave them the readings and then they asked if they were located inside or outdoors.They also asked if they were accessible to an engineer should they need to call???????? This has all the makings of a SCAM.I have notified my energy provider regarding this matter

They ve called my mobile 20 times in the last week. Claimed to be from Motor Insurance Database UK. This is a number from Macclesfield. I asked "is your Co. in Macclesfield?", to which they replied "errrr uh-huh". I asked if they could give me their website details and they hung up. Total scam /. fraud scumbags.

LAdy pretending to be from telephone preference service, gives you your name, address and postcode. Then says preference service rewuires you to renew your membership giving the existing Debit card details. Then asks for the details - I refused. At this point line went dead.

They called me twice, I didn t pick it up but I called them back and it says the number is not recognised!! Now they are ringing my hun on his phone. Who r these ppl, sound proper dodgy to me!

Thought this was a reputable insurance company but will never use them again
