Someone rang asking about my boiler, and wanted to know how old I am and if anyone lived with me, and what sort of house I had.

Keeps ringing but I ve only had this number 2 weeks and haven t give it out...so how have they got it ..

I got a call at work and a female welsh voice said `I understand you are under 60 years old and therefore you qualify for a pensions bonus payment of £1,000 which you will receive within the next 60 days. fell for these guys too, using another number 02476231293. for western guardian, a company that does exist but it seems don t actually sell any newspapers, did some checks with friends in the newspaper industry and they don t exist. its a scam, fake newspaper website to trick you into thinking they are legit, when asking about distribution numbers and areas they couldn t tell me, went on hold and then reeled off some local place names. everything on their website is password protected so you cant actually r

Calls then when you pick up and say hello - they hang up. You can call the number back but it s either engaged or a dead tone??? Very strange!!
