If you Google the number, it comes back to Brother. 0333 numbers are used in the UK and known as non-geographic but are (supposedly) cheaper than 08 and 09 numbers.

They have been ringing me for weeks and managed to ignore the number when it came up. They rang 7times on my landline yesterday. 3 times in the space of half an hour. My husband then answered it last night and woman said something about a survey and him getting voucher for petrol. i shouted him to hang up the phone...which he did. They haven t called back. I am now investing in a phone with call guard because I am absolutely SICK of being harassed by this number and similar annoying sales calls.
SCAM left a message on my voicemail. Badly synthed voice, American accent. Mentioned county court, call to stop action etc.

I think they tried calling last week, then again today to my unlisted mobile phone number (11th Nov). I answered, saying my name; there was a pause then an unintelligible garble for a few seconds and then they put the phone down! As such I wouldn t trust any organisation who behaves as rudely as that...

I got a call from this number. They told me that I was invlolved in some accident 2.5 years ago, but I was never involved in any accident as I don't have even a bicycle.

This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). Called me claiming to be from Sky, informing me that malicious individuals are trying to hack my router. I played dumb and allowed them to get to the part where they wanted me to install TeamViewer to gain access to my computer. I gave them an earful about preying on vulnerable people, but it will have had zero effect; I just hope I cost them more money in call charges than they were expecting.

Purporting to sell iPhones and mobile connectivity. Call repeatedly from numbers beginning 020 3986 **** I block them every time, but every few days they call again from a different number on the same exchange.
Weird. When I answered, a recorded message said that the caller is unable to take your call. I don t know if it is genuine or a scam but I have never had this happen before.
