Recorded message about PPI
Someone called me from this number at 0800 this morning (didn t hear it, I was in bed). Assume it is a scam call, I know no-one in Camarthen; I also live in Switzerland.
Had a call from this number yesterday. At the other end of the phone was a robotic recorded voice allegedly calling from HMRC to say that I had carried out fraudulent activity and that a warrant would be issued for my arrest unless I pressed 1 and followed the instructions. These people need to be hunted down and hung up by their dangly bits in my opinion. Real scumbags preying on the vulnerable!

I ve been getting several calls a day not just from this number, but from others, too - or sometimes they come up as "unavailable" or "international". All of them are from people with an Indian accent saying that they are calling to fix a problem with my PC and quickly become very rude when questioned. Claimed that my internet was going to be disconnected, and to press 1 to talk to my ISP. I pressed '1' for fun and when answered I said that I thought it was a scam and wondered why I was being called. The person on the other end of the line swore at me for about 10 seconds and then hung up on me. All great fun.

Tried to talk to me about my mobile contract coming up for renewal, but quickly hung up.
This number has just called the home phone and spoken to my partner. My partner had filled out some online surveys recently which was about gaining free samples etc. This was mentioned over the call and then offered him £20 worth of petrol or diesel vouchers, but would need his bank details over the phone to pay for postage. My partner was chatted to the person right up until this point... then stated with all due respect, as much as I would love the vouchers, I never have or will give my bank details out
