Pre-recorded message claiming to be from bank saying there had been two suspicious transactions and giving options to press 1 or 2, depending on what response mine was. Voice was good RP English. Investigations and trackers located source to the Khram Pokrova Presbytery at Bogoroditsy in the New Soviet Union (Russian Federation) Republic of Mordovia.

SCAM I leave my answerphone on permanently for call screening. This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. If you receive this message or a similar one and are unsure if it actually from your bank or not. I suggest you contact your bank directly (not via the link in the text message).
