Keep getting text messages for a Mr Kevin Toft, I am not a male. Delete them don’t even open them. This is becoming so annoying now can something be done to stop these. Many other numbers being used by same people.
scam phone call, from a man who claimed he was ‘calling about loft insulation that had previously been installed’ and went on to say that they ‘needed to visit to do a free inspection for damp and mould’. when I told them I have never had loft installation installed they hung up. SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:22 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year.
