I received a call from two british east Indian sounding guys saying that they were calling from The online trading academy. The first one asked me personal info like what I did for a living and what I was currently trading... He then said he would put me on with his highly accredited colleague who then asked me to install an app called Anydesk so that he could screen share charts with me. This is a fraudulent scam number claiming to be from the bank. The pre-recorded message states that there has been fraudulent activity on your account.
This number called me and it turned out to be Southampton Audi arranging an MOT. It was odd that it showed up as as a Portsmouth area code though, maybe they use a call center now.

Voice mail message stating it was my bank and that they had noticed that I was using amazon prime and if I wanted to stop this service press 1 to speak to their amazon service desk. Needless to say I didn’t press 1 as I don’t use amazon prime. I also rang my bank and they confirmed it was a scam.

We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.

Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Columbia.
Domestic and General call centre - frequent contacts to try and sell me insurance on and appliance - nuisance calls!
Suspected tax scam. Automated voice told me that HMRC have a tax fraud case against me and to press 1 to be connected to an HMRC inspector. I hung up and reported to HMRC.
Recorded message - you have been accused of fraud to HMRC. Press 1 or a warrant will be issued for your arrest and you will be arrested shortly. Had me in stitches!

SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Swearing dialogue commenced, said they were from Sri Lanka which seems nonsense. Accent sounded Indian. Called back on different number
Call to land line. Recorded message pretending to be from HMRC. nObvious SCAM so I cut off.
Call from man (no gentleman) with Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I jokingly replied that I was from Microsoft fraud department he ranted down the phone at me for 15 minutes in abusive language before he eventually hung up. I have had scam calls before but this one was downright offensive.

Called me to try get my business on top pages of google for certain searches... 17 mins later he got off the phone after politly saying no thanks for a number of times! Talks a lot, and if you call back, call on a witheld number as they can see your number when you call then back to see who it was/ how you can help etc!!
