Was rung by this number twice and put on hold for 7 minutes by an automated American voice and then hung up on.

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. Scammers, said from company Smart Selections about loft insulation. The company was dissolved by comulsory strike off in 2018, when asked for a return phone number they hung up.
5 times today very annoying never answer unknown number.
So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

SCAM Saying they are calling from sky about my slow broadband speed, considering I'm not with sky i decided to keep them talking until I got bored the told the to f$%€ off, they called back a few hours later with the same crap, and continuously kept ringing until i picked up the phone, I.told them in my best Indian accent to f%%% off bloody b@$%/÷$ and I will kill them... not heard back yet
Just had a call from 01952 241140 - when I answered they took a few seconds to respond, suggesting a call centre. Claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted me to confirm I was the owner of this computer (I was on the phone not the computer but hey...) I confirmed it and then he asked the same question again but used my name. I confirmed it again and he hung up! Not sure what it was about but very wary.

We heard you were involved in an accident rubbish
asked for me by name and had details of an old card that I had used. Stated from GoGuardian - an app to stop cold callers. Informed him I had TPS and that was not stopping them. Got a raised voice response. TPS let calls in from unused numbers and mostly from overseas. Told him not free to talk, then checked on line.. Number relates to a restaurant in Weston Super Mare. So ihe was talking a load of crap. When are these scammers going to give up.
