02070974865 called claiming to be from Openreach and saying they had detected an fault with my internet. Wanted to talk me through what to do on my computer. Received a recorded call from this number regarding PPI, despite the fact that I have previously opted out by pressing 5 and registered with TPS. I have also reported this to TPS.
It s an Umbrella Payroll Company for Contractors. I checked out their website as I m unhappy with my current one, and saw the missed call from them (this number), promptly followed by a text message. Googled the missed call number, saw the text 1min later and out 2+2 together.

Call saying Amazon were taking £79.99 from my a/c and press 1 to cancel the transaction or 2 to speak to advisor. I put phone down. I notice callers are introducing themselves with very English christian names, when clearly have Asian accents.! When challenged, they end the call.

Apparently from BT advising there were "irregurlarities" on my network and that they would disconnect me unless I pressed "1" for instructions. Almost certainly a scam so I declined the invitation.
