I received a call from this number on 8.12.20 claiming to be from BT to report an internet problem. It turned out to be a scam aimed at accessing my personal and bank details.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. No idea who called! Male caller said hello and I responded. No further conversation but could hear busy call centre background. Blocked the number as it is from a call centre.

They call if you have had an accident andsay they want to act on your behalf but will not tell you where they have got your details from. Whenu ask they hang up Such a rude and untrustworthy company - who will not disclose who they are or where they are based. Put the phone down on them if they call.

Frequent calls, rings two to three times then rings off. When I answer there is no one there. When I called the number I got an automated response from Amnesty International. Not a scam but very irritating.

Telemarketing company acting on behalf of the RCNi (subsidiary of the Royal College of Nursing) - selling their products to customers. I had a call from this number the well spoken call handler had my name, email address, home address and membership number. Trying to sell me a product and asked for me my bank account number and sort code. Or as I also suspect as the company .br is for Brazil. They may even manage to get your call transferred from the UK telephone number to Brazil at your expense.

Call on mobile from unknown german number, ignored, no message left.
