I have a message from HSBC. Skam

They have called twice now. Would not identify themselves.

Called 4 times in one day! I thought about calling back but glad I didn t! I google every unknown number that calls me now. As of late, I am getting unknown calls every other day. I m not sure who I gave these details to, but no doubt at least my phone number has been sold to scammers and or telemarketers.

repeatedly rings early evening. If asked the company or her name they hang up. They do not with hold their telephone number. rang them on their direct line 01792311578 and they gave me a false 0800 number to complain to. A repeat call to the direct line said they would get their customer service dept to ring me back. They never did. AVOID

I just had a call from this number too, claiming to be "D M Experts". The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. called 10 times yesterday and twice from unknown number, once from a local number.

The guy said he was from Ecosave Power, which, having read the above, was true. However, he then asked if I had received my renewal paperwork, so I asked if he could tell me who my energy supplier was (I have recently changed suppliers, so would not be expecting any renewal paperwork yet). He said he would call me back - I said no, I can hold on, so he hung up. If that s not suspicious, what is?!
