Claimed to be from NPOWER had quite a bit of information on us.. eventually got round to asking for our password.. contacted npower .. defo not them .. also keeps ringing on 016...

Originally I contacted them from a referal from my sister as they contacted her about a video games tester job which applied more to me. They called me back within 20mins which was strange and then never let up. I thought they were sketchy from the start o talking to them, again some indian guy with bad connection, and would call 3-4 times day plus sending emails about his job offer, I didnt know anything about them apart from some company name so I searched it and found this!!

Nnswered straight away but could hear a call centre in the background, then a heavily Indian accented man calling himself George came on the line. I hung up .

In response to your comment Tony M please dont be so rude as to imply others are uneducated this number is a pain in the arse. They are now ringing my husbands mobile using one of their other numbers 0161 826 5780 all times of day they dont answer you when you pick it up there is always a voicemail message directing you to hold for their accounts dept and they DENY they are workin for Orange when you do get through so check your facts are correct before making rude assumptions about others.

Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. Should I be worried because I clicked on the link ? Phone number was +447519328611

call to mobile and landline middle of afternoon 21/08/2019 I did not answer and they left no message.

This number says that it is from Amazon Prime telling you that your subscription is due. £79.99.This is a scam just hang up.

This is the Job Centre Plus number for informing them that you have found employment

Received 6 calls over 4 days also ending with 09 never leaves a message have blocked and added my name again to TPS service to make sure.

Obtained my details inc address following a small car accident. Gave me some story about the other guy putting in a claim for whiplash and said I could also claim. Phoning persistently over the past few days from different numbers. Some kind of survey scam, but they hang up as soon as you deviate from script. If they call, don t give away any personal info: don t even confirm your name. Instead, try to politely find out their company name and address. Then send details to offcom / TPS / your MP etc (perhaps with a similar level of persistence?), until someone does something. It s just an idea. Good luck!

Accidentally answered this. Recorded msg supposedly HMO threating a warrant being issued! I had to click on 1 to be put through to the office. Needless to say I hung up!!

This number 0131287730809 identifies it as Amazon Prime Membership renewal. It then offers 'press one' to cancel the membership. I use Amazon, but I'm not a Prime member so I pressed one to cancel. A foreign gentleman answered and I told him that I hadn't joined Prime and to return my money.
