Foreign man (Asian?) said my name. I asked for his name and what he wanted. He said Martin and it was about my computer conection. My reply was:- So you're a scammer, and I'll report you. He rang off and I blocked the number.

I have this number 3 times a day or a slight variation of it
Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.
I got this call in response to a request i made for a large transfer of money They were confirming in order to be able to release the funds

Started with the call will be recorded and they have called earlier this week with a different number. When asked how they got the number hung up the call.

Calling me about a PPI claim 7 years ago,? They insisted helped me get a refund (which they didn't) and now threatening to start legal action unless I pay them compensation. SCAMMERS TO THE VULNERABLE
Called asking for someone else by name. Told them they had the wrong number and I obviously didn’t sound like a woman (who they asked for). Asked who they were speaking to. Told them it was no concern of theirs who I was, but I am not the person they were after and I didn’t know anyone of that name. Could be genuine, but I don’t give my name to anyone over the phone that calls me out of the blue.

Called claiming to be Curry’s Pc World acting on behalf of network providers giving customers better deals. Phoned Curry’s to check legitimacy and they informed me this is definitely a scam as they don’t even have an outbound sales call team anymore and don’t act under the Currys Pc World name anymore, just ‘Curry’s’.

This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. He is an elderly gentleman and went straight to the police as he doesn’t have Amazon prime, the police called the number but it doesn’t accept incoming calls surprise surprise. SCAMMERS

THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS PHONE NUMBER. It is a supposed guy who hooked me up in a popular dating site (Happn) and he is trying to make me "invest" money in a fake Medtronic site: medtronic-vip.site. Please report this to the police ASAP, this is real, I have all the chats in my phone and I am available for questions from the police too. I did not fall in the trap, but other people are at risk!
