Automated spam call alleging to be Amazon Prime stating I was about to be billed unless I spoke to their call centre. I don't have Prime so hung up.
No message left. Obviously someone trying to sell me something I don't want!!! Beware.

My credit card issuer informed me that a fraudster tried to change my number to this one. Presumably to get OTP sent to them, not me

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Pretending to be an insurance company querying a car accident payout
Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

Claimed to be able to do home repairs free of charge. I told him the council do my repairs. He said they (council) are falling behind and would give a year's free rent if anything went wrong. When I told him that I would still have to go through council, he hung up.

Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!
