Have been away for work reasons for 2 days - just got to 11 missed calls in 2 days! Rang nimber back and spoke to hammonds customer ordering - told them asking for a brochure was a huge mistake and now wont be placing an order! And to remove me from database!

It IS Sky and if you ask them they will openly state they got your number from a third party. IE, they bought it. Have you done a survey of ANY kind? If so that is how your number is passed to them. They will apologise and remove your number from their database if you request it.

Called as I had gone over my limit on my card. They did hang up the first time they tried calling me which was annoying to which the adviser informed me that they are having issues with the auto dialler system. I believe Aqua credit also use a similar number.

This was a recorded message to say illegal activity had been on my internet which would be cut off in 24 hours. I was to press 1 to speak to someone. Clearly an attempt to get into my computer so cut it off.
I had a call from this number, but went right to the answering machine. I won ? 2500. It could be heard in the background many different voices.
Internet scam, pretending to be Microsoft. Say you have faults on your computer, it was an Indian man who couldn't even speak English properly, he wanted to gain access to my computer because Microsoft had seen lots of logs that were faults.

I have just been had by this company,they said I they phoned me in October 2014. They have just taken £79.99 off me,that was my wheelchair money. Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.
