call flagged up as International, so didn t reply. Looked on another site and all reports said it was a scam and they d recently put ad on Gumtree, as had I.

SCAM Insurance scam... tell them about your accident and they will get extra money for you from the third party insurance... Pushy and called from two different numbers... I hung up on first and they called from different location. Claim they are registered, but the compnay was dissolved in 2021, could not provdie website or further ifformation about when they compnay was set up.
SCAM Received a call apparently from O2 asking if my phone service was good. I said it was fine and hung up. Almost immediately after I received a warning from O2 by text: *SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will arrive shortly. If someone's calling you and asking for a code, please end the call because they DO NOT work for O2. If you suspect fraud, call us on 202 so we can protect your account. Soon after a code came from O2. This suggests the caller was trying to access my account.

These people are actually the TV Licensing debt department don t be fooled by them. tell them you don t watch live TV also tell them not to be sending anyone to your door.
Told me I had a problem with my windows pc. Kept them on the line for 45 mins. They then asked was I going to be interested or was I taking the piss? Told them I had a Mac and yes I was taking the piss. I then hung up. Hehehe.
This number has rung me several times during the day in the last week or so, as I am unable to answer my mobile at work, I have not spoken to the caller but on looking up the number I m pleased that I haven t.

Went to voicemail so only caught half the message as it was prerecorded, mentioned HMRC... Something about "registered under your name, press 1 and your call will be connected to the officer dealing with the case if you don't press on the warrant will be issued under your name and you will be arrested shortly." They called me today asking for my wife, said they had details of a loan she d taken out that had been passed on to them, I pressed for details and they gave some details of a loan she hasn t taken out. She said the company was BPI Claim Line and are part of another company (couldn t make out the name) and they re regulated by the Ministry of Justice. She hung up on me when I pressed her for the company name that they were part of.
