Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.

It's a call to another scammer who will then proceed to try to rob you by getting you to buy gift cards for them, they will "open a secure account" fur you and get you to transfer big money into it, or send cash wrapped in foil to some random address to "secure your bank" there's no one you can report this to as its a spoofed number. Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.

A female caller with an Indian accent stated she was from Microsoft support requesting access to the PC. After stating 'not interested' she called back 4 more times. She knew my home address which is worrying.

Fraud A banking scam - purporting to be TSB and checking fraudulent transactions. Almost convinced us to give standing orders and direct debit details, and had confirmed a couple of transaction. Eventually wanted to close card/account and open a new one!!! Too many alarm bells. Steer well clear. VERY VERY CONVINCING!
