Cold Call
Got a call this morning from a lady. I could hardly understand a word she was saying. Thick accent and slow sounding voice. I repeatedly apologised for not being able to understand and asked her to repeat herself. She hung up.
Had a miss call from this company i rang the number and i got an answer service saying they where calling about a possible PPI claim, I think they are called Crookshak and Green.
SPAM - Caller hung up on answering.
01723788922 automated call at 3:24pm today, caller said they were from B.T. and that they were going to disconnect me as there was evidence of somebody tapping in to my network, and if I wanted to speak to them to press 1. At this point I blocked the call as I am not with B.T. so I knew it was a spam caller.

SCAM - Pretending to be Microsoft and they download Anydesk on your PC, run some commands and show you the "threats" on your PC. They then run something that shows banking details and they direct you to go to your online banking so they can assist in fixing your security with your banking. (I am in IT and an elderly customer got tricked by this).

I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous. Fraud. Automated Female recording about a visa txn - asking to enter a number to respond to questions. Believe it to be a scam as they did not identify me or give appropriate details about my account before they went into their 'rant'. This is not the first time they have called (2 other have been received around same time each day (9:15am to 9:30am) so some automated call scheduler is involved.
