Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Received missed call at 18:50 which in itself is strange for a business. When I called it back there was a Click, and then a holding Jingle music started playing, as if I'd been transferred to another line. I ended the call after about 10secs. I would consider it spam
Amy from Amazon (with an Indian accent and obviously from a call centre) said that there had been purchases of gift cards from my Amazon account and was it me who had made them? I said I would not respond to a call centre phone call and hung up. Checked my Amazon account and there were no recent transactions, so obviously a scam.
They called me while I was driving, so didn't pick up BUT they called 6 times over a period of 15 minutes! The voice mails was from a indian gentleman but I was unable to understand what they waned.

I got a text from what looked like my bank (Santander), saying a lot of money was being taken from my account. It gave this number 03333443057 to call. I called, and they answered HSBC ! I said I thought I was calling Santander, they said I work for both banks (yeah, right!). I said let me have your name and department, I ll call my bank and ask to be put through to you, at which point they promptly hung up.
