Missed a call from this number and I rang it back as I do have friends and family in that area (Porthmadog).. it turned out to be an energy assessment number... and they certain...

Only just reactivated my faithful old w995i, it s been on 5minutes and this numbers tried to call me. I didn t answer as everyone on my contacts list knows I use a different number, it s not the first time they ve called but I m on Orange not Vodafone??

Dodgy outfit asking me about the "accident I had recently" then passed me to unintelligible guy with Indian accent asking me to reveal details of car accidents in last 3 years. Not had any nor did I ask them to call. I have registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

Seems to be University of Bristol Alumni organisation, phoning alumni. Other sites report fund-raising. Probably legitimate rather than fraudulent, but I have no knowledge.

This number called my elderly mums number, I answered, they said it was something to do with Windows then mentioned computer, I told them not to ring this number again that there was no computer at the property and to remove our number from their database, I was rudely informed that if they were to do that we would be charged, and they could ring as many times as they wished.

My partner answered this call and the told her they are a company called GSK and that I had dealings with them ,told my partner that I had never heard of GSK she told the caller this and they hung up.

Has called 4 times at varying times,but is a wretched nuisance (always at the wrong time) I don t answer these spurious calls as I get so many from boiler sellers to insurance claim fixers
