this was a robotic voice, claiming they are from the HMRC and i had to call them back or legal proceedings will start and i will be called to Manchester Crown Court.

Claims to be from some Government Agency suggesting some savings or cash benefits may be available on energy e.g. insulation, boilers, solar panels etc. Wanted to know my name and address, which I refused to give, and the caller put the phone down. Unsolicited call.

Answered call and just went dead but had a few unknown numbers caling me about overcharges on car finance I d taken out in the last few years. Never had car finance!

SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.

Had a call this morning from a man claiming to work for a company called "First Pass", asking about an RTA I was supposed to have been involved in. I asked how he got my details and requested that they be deleted from their data-base. I have never been in an RTA, and am on TPS to prevent cold-callers. He persisted in trying to obtain more information from me and when I refused to answer, he hung up. If they call again, I shall report them to Ofcom.

I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. SCAM by recorded voice saying they were HM Revenue & Customs and a tax fraud had been reported. Say to press 1 to discuss with the officer. If I didn’t press a number to be connected I woukd soon be arrested. Obviously pressing any key will incur huge charges or they will try to get you to give personal information etc. My number is really private so I wonder just who sold it to these scammers?

Appeared to be usual tele-sales marketing call: answer phone and wait while caller connects to you instead of the dozen or so other numbers he is calling at same time. He eventually says "hello" - I say same and he immediately terminates the call. I suspect I was wrong gender. Just BLOODY RUDE!
