Called me around 10:24am, I missed the call, I’ve been trying to figure out who it was, but every time I ring back it says number not recognised
Fraud Stated they were from Virgin Media and they were cutting my internet off in 2 hours. The conversation got very sweary from my end, before hanging up. Be warned that this scam used to be robotic automated voice, but they are using a human now, albeit a subspecies who have not developed ethics quite yet.
SCAM: Third identical call today. Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT, who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. My internet & line will be disconnected. Press 1 to speak to an ‘executive’ to rectify this.

I had a call from an immigrant this morning saying that they were from Microsoft, and that there was a big problem with my computer which they needed to fix. This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.
