I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. In the first place neither my husband or myself have had a loan from our bank or on any credit card. The caller went on to name all the credit cards that I could own and from any bank (naming banks) that I may have had a card or loan from. Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Then she said they needed to do some checks to see if they could offer me a better/cheaper deal and asked me how much I pay monthly. It was when I said if you’re from sky you should know how much I pay. it was when she said she wasn’t from Sky but from UK utility something. I hung up

SCAM - The person contacts in order to buy things sold online. They ask for your IBAN number, the name of your bank, your address and then they sent a fake email saying that they have transferred money to your account. You just have to send the item and email the receipt to the provided email address and then your money will be transferred. Don't fall for the trick.
