Its a call centre that are working for rspb. Trying to get you to do a direct debit.
It was a scam claiming to be from internet provider saying that the IP address needed to be changed
I answered and they hung up immediately.
TAXES / HMRC Usual scam- recorded voice saying there will be a warrent out for my arrest if I don't press 1 to regularise the position.
Missed call - Unknown number. Rang but left no message. I never answer unknown numbers due to the volume of scams. Any genuine caller would leave a message. Any polite caller would leave a message. Therefore this number is from a person who is neither genuine or polite. Not someone I wish to talk to!
Recorded caller said that my National Insurance number has been compromised and to press 1 to ensure no legal action will be taken against my NI number! From a mobile number?!?!

Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. SCAM Said they were BT, and our line was about to be cut off. So, not neutral folks, it's a scam. They can cut our BT landline if they want. We're in Hull on Kingston Telecom, so no BT landlines here. Their office location is said to be in London, on or close to Trafalgar Sq. ... so very close, the Met could pick them up. But somehow doubt that will happen.

SCAM Fake mobile contract facilitator, I didn't go this far because I'm not an idiot but they will "accept" your application for a mobile phone contract and will request a deposit and the first month upfront, to then not send your device but still take monthly payments.
